چکیده
In this paper, the pegormance of a multiuser wireless network using OFDM, combined with Power Control and Adaptive Beamforming for uplink transmission is presented. An adaptive power control algorithm is exploited to achieve the desired Signal to Noise and Integerence Ratio (SINR) at each subchannel and increase the power eficiency of the mobile transmitter. Therefol; we can achieve a better overall error probability with abed total power. A distributed iterative algorithm is used to jointly update the transmission power and the beamformer weights at each subchannel so that it can converge to the optimal solution for both power and beamforming vectors at each subchannel. Another algorithm has been proposed to decrease the complexity resulting from the number of beamformers and FFT blocks. The algorithms use only the interference measured locally by the transmittel: Unlike most of the loading algorithms which optimize the bit distribution and subchannel power allocation for a single transmitter, this approach tries to optimize the power allocation and decrease the integerence for the whole network.

Joint Beamforming and Handoff for Traffic Improvements in Wireless Networks - Communications, 1999. ICC '99. 1999 IEEE International Conference on
A cellular wireless network with beamforming capabilities at the receiver is considered which allows two or more transmitters to share the same channel for communicating with the base station. A novel approach is introduced which combines the effects of the digital signal processing at the physical layer along with the network layer protocol on the overall queuing model of a cell. From this eff...
متن کاملTransmitter diversity for OFDM systems and its impact on high-rate data wireless networks
Transmitter diversity and down-link beamforming can be used in high-rate data wireless networks with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) for capacity improvement. In this paper, we compare the performance of delay, permutation and space–time coding transmitter diversity for high-rate packet data wireless networks using OFDM modulation. For these systems, relatively high block erro...

A low complexity dynamic subcarrier and power allocation methodology for downlink communication in an OFDM-based multiuser environment is developed. The problem of maximizing overall capacity with constraints on total power consumption, bit error rate and data rate proportionality among users requiring different QOS specifications is formulated. Assuming perfect knowledge of the instantaneo...
متن کاملThe 18th Annual IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications (PIMRC’07) AN EFFICIENT RESOURCE ALLOCATION FOR MULTIUSER MIMO-OFDM SYSTEMS WITH ZERO-FORCING BEAMFORMER
In this paper, a low complexity subcarrier allocation scheme is proposed for multiuser MIMO-multiuser OFDM systems with zero-forcing beamforming (ZFBF) to minimize the total transmit power satisfying given target data rates of users. The ZFBF for multiuser MIMO makes multiple spatial channels by removing multiuser interference and the subcarrier allocation can be performed over spatial and freq...
